Mrs. Patel uses Clicker 8 to support her students' literacy development and engagement during a writing activity. Knowing that her class includes students with diverse learning needs, including visual impairments and dyslexia, Mrs. Patel creates a customized Clicker 8 document with large, high-contrast text and customizable grids. She introduces the topic of the writing task and provides students with various visual supports, such as images and vocabulary lists, to scaffold their writing. Using Clicker 8's word prediction feature, students with dyslexia are able to access suggested words and phrases to support their writing, while students with visual impairments benefit from speech feedback to ensure accurate spelling and comprehension. Throughout the activity, Mrs. Patel circulates the classroom, providing individualized support and encouragement to students as they work independently or collaboratively on their writing.
