Description
Quarter 1 focuses on helping families better understand their child, strengthen family wellbeing, and build meaningful community connections. Through virtual learning, peer support, practical resources, and hands-on experiences, families explore self-determination, executive functioning, health and wellness, and opportunities for community participation. Throughout the quarter, families connect with one another through virtual parent groups and participate in a quarterly Get Stuff Done Workshop, where they can explore assistive technology, access community resources, and receive individualized support. This work is facilitated by Roots2Wings, Open Doors for Multicultural Families and the Special Education Technology Center.
