Description
Join us for an enlightening series of myth-busting webinars delving into the realm of assistive technology (AT). Considering the recent guidance from the Department of Education, we’re on a mission to separate fact from fiction surrounding AT devices and services. The guidance document, Myths and Facts Surrounding AT Devices and Services will be at the center of our conversations as we explore the topic of assistive technology in schools.
In an era where inclusive education is paramount, our series aims to empower educators, administrators, and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to harness the transformative potential of assistive technologies. From consideration of AT in the IEP, to navigating the complexities of deployment and procurement, we cover it all. Join us to be part of the conversation on how educators and parents in WA state are addressing the assistive technology needs of students.
Dates: 9/18, 10/16, 11/20, 2/19, 3/19, 4/23
