11/18/2024, Closing the Gap Recap

Date: 11/18/2024 Time: 11:30-12:30 Location: internet Type: Webinar

Description

Closing The Gap is a national assistive technology conference held annually in October in Minnesota. It’s a resource rich conference and SETC staff were able to present, attend presentations, and explore the vendor hall and have so much to share with you! If you didn’t get a chance to go, you’ll want to join us as we share highlights of what we learned and show the technology we tried out. Even if you did attend the conference you know there’s so much to learn there that you’ll probably want a recap! We’ll have time for participants to share their favorite new learnings too. Let’s all challenge our growth in Assistive Technology- come hear about the latest trends and tips in an informal sharing and discussion format with plenty of photos, video, and links to resources.

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will identify at least 2 AT tips that can be applied to their own instructional practice with students.
  2. Participants will compare and contrast AT tools and strategies presented and choose one tool or strategy to trial or pursue deeper learning.
