Do your students struggle to organize and take notes to produce reports and projects? Do they struggle to take notes from lectures? Join this webinar to hear about Glean and Pro-Study, two apps that support students in inclusive settings with note taking, researching, and assimilating information to produce reports and projects. These apps are especially supportive of executive functioning. One of these apps will also create a written transcript of lectures.
Learning Objectives
- Learn ways to help their students manage multiple projects and be able to gather and manage information and use it to produce reports and projects.
- Learn about and be able to describe the features of Glean such as capturing lectures and readings and organizing content, reviewing specific points of a lecture, and applying their knowledge.
- Learn about and be able to describe the features of Pro-Study such as how to capture, manage and categorize key information such as web pages, E-journals, textbooks and files.
Presenters
Linda Doehle, AT Specialist
Linda Doehle started her career as a software engineer after completing her degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics at Whitworth College. She brought her technical skills to the field of assistive technology while working as an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Yakima School District. Linda holds an AT Specialist Certificate and enjoys being able to use her technology skills in helping students optimize their abilities using assistive technology. Linda has been with the Special Education Technology Center for eleven years and has presented webinars and classes at national and statewide conferences.
